Graphical System Design (GSD) is the state-of the-art way to effectively teach and learn basic and advanced engineering concepts using a graphical programming platform. In contrast with the traditional text based methods used in today's curriculum, with limitations in visualization and ease of use, GSD has proven to enhance the teaching learning process by making it experiential (hands-on). True Multi-disciplinary engineering projects become a reality with GSD and faculty members and students will use the LabVIEW platform and open toolkits with cost effective hardware and driver software to perform acquisition, analysis and control functions. The same tools are used to solve practical problems in Test, Control and Design domains in academics, research and industry.
During this workshop thought leaders from Academics and Industry will share their experience in working with the students and the teaching learning methods from an outcome based perspective. Specific focus will be on LabVIEW Basics hands-on training and certification for participants. ...read more
